Moon Landings
Neil Armstrong was the first man to land on the moon and was really the first man to set foot on the moon. Buzz Aldrin went to the moon at the same time as Neil Armstrong but was the second man to actually set foot on the moon.

Apollo 12 was started on November 14. Its launch time was 11:22:00 A.M on November 14,1969. The launch took place at the launch complex 39A in the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It landed on the lunar surface on November 19, 1969. This mission provided the very first opportunity to study the moon. Apollo 12 Mission
Apollo 13 launched Saturday, April 11 1970. This mission was planned as a precision lunar landing. The plan for this mission was to get sample the Librium Basin.There was an accident that happened because an explosion and rupture of the oxygen tank no. 2 in the surface module. Apollo 13 mission
Apollo 14 was launched in 1971. The crew include Alan Shepard Jr., Stuart A Roosa, and Edgar D. Mitchell. It was launched from the Kennedy Space Center on January 31, 1971. This mission was the third mission to achieve the lunar landing. This spacecraft landed in the same place that Apollo 13 was to explore. Apollo 14 Mission
Apollo 15 was the first of three J missions designed to conduct exploration of the moon over long periods of time. The Apollo 15 module landed in the Hadley Apennines region site. Apollo 15 Mission
Apollo 16 was the second manned J lunar landing mission. It was the second in a series of three j-type missions. The crew was on the moon for 71 hours. Apollo 16 Mission
Apollo 17 marked the end of the Apollo flight missions. The mission plan was for the spacecraft to land in the moon's Taurus-Littrow region. It carried out some investigations. It was launched at midnight. They stayed there for 72 hours on the lunar landing. Apollo 17 Mission
