Venus
Venus was the goddess of love and beauty to the Romans.Venus is also the mother of Aeneas, the Trojan hero of the Aeneid, who left the fallen city of Troy, with his father Anchises on his back. She was more powerful and revered than her Greek counterpart Aphrodite. Julius Caesar dedicated a temple to her in Rome.
Mars
Mars represents the god of war, Ares. Mars has two moons named after the two sons of Ares: Phobos and Deimos. Mars was the son of Jupiter and Juno. Nobody liked him much, not the gods and not the mortals. Mars did not care who won or lost a battle, he just liked seeing blood shed.
Saturn
Saturn is the Roman god of agriculture. He had one son Jupiter. Saturn was originally called Cronus, but when he fled the people changed his name to Saturn. Saturn's leadership skills quickly made him King of Latium.
